A rich, balanced education grounded in the Tamil Nadu State Board — building thinkers, doers, and responsible citizens.
At LIMRA, academics is about building genuine understanding, developing the joy of learning, and preparing every child for a future that demands both knowledge and character. We follow the Tamil Nadu State Board curriculum enriched with activity-based, experiential learning in English medium.
Our school offers classes from Kindergarten (LKG & UKG) through Primary Grades 1 to 5. The KG section follows the MI-KIDS curriculum — a holistic, play-and-activity-based programme for young learners.
MI-KIDS Curriculum · Play-Based Learning
The MI-KIDS curriculum — a specially designed, play-based framework that honours the way young children naturally learn.
Tamil Nadu State Board · Samacheer Kalvi
The Tamil Nadu State Board (Samacheer Kalvi) framework enriched with projects, experiments, and real-world enrichment activities.
Every topic taught through real-world connections and hands-on activities — ensuring children understand deeply, not just memorize.
Students regularly undertake project-based tasks requiring research, analysis, and presentation — building critical thinking and creativity.
Academic learning balanced with arts, sports, life skills, and values. We prepare children for life, not just examinations.
Every child learns differently. Our teachers identify individual needs and adjust accordingly — no child is left behind.
Computer lab, virtual classroom, and NIE programme ensure students are tech-comfortable and analytically strong from early age.
Regular parent-teacher meetings and examination reports keep parents informed and genuinely involved in their child's journey.
Examinations at LIMRA are designed to assess progress, motivate growth, and identify areas for support — not to create pressure. Our three-terminal system provides regular checkpoints throughout the year.
Covers the first term curriculum. Results shared on Open Day. Identifies students needing additional guidance.
Half-yearly assessment. Marks contribute to the annual progress report and promotion consideration.
Determines promotion to the next grade. Results considered in totality with all terminal marks.
A compulsory subject for promotion. All students from Grade 1 attend regular computer classes in our fully equipped lab.
Students who pass in General Knowledge and Score I to V qualify for the prestigious Honour Roll — recognising academic excellence.
Pupils absent without valid reason will be re-examined. Missing final exams without medical documentation may affect promotion.
Teachers continuously assess through participation, assignments, and homework — no child falls behind without timely intervention.
Compulsory on the re-opening and closing day of each term. Regular attendance throughout the term is strongly expected of all students.
After any absence, the pupil must bring a leave letter signed by the parent stating the reason and dates missed. Handed to the class teacher on return.
Absence exceeding four consecutive working days requires a valid medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner submitted to school.
No pupil may leave school premises during hours without prior permission of the Principal. Parents must obtain formal approval in advance.
The school's permission must be obtained for any planned absence. Parents are encouraged to communicate proactively at all times.
Attendance records are considered during promotion decisions. Consistent attendance ensures students fully benefit from instruction and examinations.
